Our 1960 something little vintage trailer will be taking her maiden voyage, as our trailer anyway, in 8 days. We will be pulling her through Los Angeles (fingers crossed for no traffic), up Pacific Coast Highway, past Carpenteria, Santa Barbara, and on to Los Olivos, for the Born to Run Ultra Marathon. This is an exciting weekend for several reasons. First off, I love Los Olivos California! If you have never been, make the time to go. Of course they have the usual great wine tasting, but they also have olive oil, and balsamic vinegar tastings too. AND to top all of that, there is the tandem wine & cupcake tasting at Sarloos & Sons. When you’re done with all that, be sure to stroll over to J. Woeste nursery.
Okay, so after all the niceties of Los Olivos, we will then be camping out for the weekend at a cattle ranch, where the Born to Run Ultra Marathon is being hosted. Lots of crazy people gather to run multiple ten mile loops (10 miler, 50k, 100k & 100 miler), amongst cow pies & cattle. It’s pretty awesome.
Getting to the point finally; our 1960 something little vintage trailer needs a name. Help us find a name that will reflect her future restored glory. Send us your ideas, and if you happen to know the year of our trailer, please do share!
