This week I’m on vacation, not because we have plans to go anywhere, or I have things I have to get done. Nope, I just needed a break from my job job. As a fellow blogger posted not long ago, I was on the verge of a Blue Sweater Day! If your curious go check out XOXO Darya, she’s really a great writer.
So, today I leisurely sat in bed, drinking coffee, and checking out the local estate sales. Not much was catching my eye, but there was one in Long Beach worth checking out. After I finally got moving, I made the quickie drive, and arrived in a cute older neighborhood full of not quite bungalows, not quite ranch style houses. Not many cars, and people walking out empty handed. Not a good sign.
After walking in I was quickly excited when I saw all of the vintage pottery and stacks of china. I squeezed through, maybe even stepping on a few toes, and got to my favorite starting spot….the kitchen. Well, unfortunately, the lady of the house, like me, is a bit clumsy. Most of the pieces had at least one chip, or crack and since I have so many pieces I need to list in the etsy shop now, I’m trying to be picky.
I did find a few pieces; now for my May 28th Daily Dilemma – To Keep or To Sell. This is becoming a challenge since we purchased our little vintage trailer “Bar Cart”, I keep trying to justify how much we will need this, or that while we are camping. Our poor little “Bar Cart” is going to be stuffed to her 12 ft capacity!
The juice jar with the lid….this one will be listed. We already have one!
