AH Crafty Challenge – Frame Vintage Brooch

So far I’ve been able to knock two projects off my list, and I’m fired up to get this week’s project done and displayed. This week I am going to frame three vintage brooches that once belonged to my Grandma Delight. They are such beauties, their sparkle and shine should not be hiding in the back corner of my jewelry box.

I was hoping to find a few small, square, vintage frames; unfortunately, that isn’t how it went down. I did find two frames from Hobby Lobby that will frame these pieces up beautifully. As far as what kind of material to use as the back drop, I’m still debating between a linen, and a burlap. I’m leaning toward burlap though, I love the look of refined with a rough texture side by side.

Supplies I think I’ll need:

Frames – Hobby Lobby

Paint – one frame is unfinished

Material for the display backdrop – remnants bin at Joann Fabrics

Glue & Scissors…
