AH Crafty Challenge – Repaint TV Console

We bought this dresser at the end of 2013, and I proceeded to paint it black. Hmmm, we liked it for about 5 minutes. We bought a “new” coffee table at the flea market a couple weeks ago, and now we KNOW the TV console needs to be repainted! Week 14 of my AH Crafty Challenge, I’m going to give our dresser, turned TV console a face lift.

Supplies I Think I’ll Need:

Paint & Paint Brushes

Chalk Paint Powder & Mason Jar

New Hardware

TV Console Before Repainting

I thought this would be more turquoise - Tropical Surf, is more Ice Blue.

No peeking until it's done!

Stop by Friday to see the TV Console final reveal. xxoo

Mary – chalk paint has a very nice finish and texture. No sanding really needed. I have it all painted, but was just telling Christine I have a new plan (I’m not loving it). I’m a goof like that! xxoo

I find that sometimes something is in my head for so long…by the time I get it done…I’m over it! so I now try to rethink it just a little more before I apply brush to surface!! BUT…. then again…its paint..and changable with my mood and a day or two or rework!!

Yes, I love that if you don’t like the paint, there is another color just waiting for you. A few changes in other furniture purchases spurred on this change. I’ll be sure to share the inspiration in the reveal!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments!!
