Last week’s challenge had a lot of moving parts to it, so this week I’m taking it easy.
I’ve been meaning to plant this turquoise galvanized tub for awhile. It’s time! I know it’s November, but in Southern California, sadly that doesn’t seem to matter. I would love some fall weather, and I think it’s on the way, but next week our high will still be 70’s. This Washington state girl misses a real fall season!
A couple weeks ago, Jerry built this bench out of some random pieces of wood he found along with some free pallets; I’m going to use that same steel wool & vinegar sludge that I used to age the mirror frame in last week’s project, on the bench.
The only things I should need for this week’s project: some dirt & plants. I still have some of the aging stuff left (to make some for yourself: about 1 cup of vinegar & piece of steel wool, and let it sit 2-3 days).
See the final reveal here, along with the freebie from the nursery.
