I so miss having a garden, and planting flowers. Forever ago, I moved to California from Washington state. Since moving here I’ve mostly lived in apartments, or a condo, with zero space for anything more than a container garden. Now we have space, and I’m going to enjoy it!
At lunch we made a quick trip to the Nursery, so I could plant up the turquoise galvanized tub for my AH Crafty Challenge. While we were there, Jerry sweet talked the lady into giving us one of the empty tree planters, we brought it home, put it together, and painted it turquoise. I love it! Darn, now we have to make another trip to the nursery for more plants. Ha, I think that lady knew exactly what she was doing when she gave us the container!
Planted in the galvanized planter:
- Pink Hydrangea
- Bacopa (trailing with little white flowers)
- Silvery grass….this one has been in one of my containers for a while – I don’t remember the name.
I forgot to show this part, but rather than fill large containers full of potting soil, we filled it half full with empty aluminum tea cans. Any recycled containers will work to take up space.
My new eye candy. Stop by Monday to see what’s on the agenda for next week’s project.
