Daily Dilemma – Mid Century Brass Magazine Record Rack

I haven’t posted a daily dilemma for a long time. That’s not to say I haven’t had any. Well, it’s happening! Yesterday while my Love was out for an appointment, he stopped off at the Goodwill on his way home. AND I’m happy that he did; look at this gorgeous Mid Century brass magazine / record rack he scored. On top of all it’s gorgeousness, it has that coastal beach city tiki feel we seem to love in Southern California.

Daily Dilemma – do I keep it, or should I list it in the Atomic Hostess online shop?

So, not only did he bring home the magazine / record rack, he also picked up the brass cocktail shaker, and two more dining room chairs to help finish up the dining room makeover that we have in the works.

What should I do? Should I keep it, or sell this gorgeous brass magazine / record rack? Help!

It’s really lovely, and it would go perfectly with this rotan chair set I picked up a few weeks ago (also with a tiki make over in mind)… But maybe it’s like you suggested, if you don’t have the perfect spot for it, I think you should sell it and make someone really happy with it.

It’s like you read my mind! I saw a similar one at an antique store the other day and have been searching Etsy for one ever since. If you don’t mind me asking, how much was it? I’m trying to figure out whether the ones I’ve seen are a good deal or not!

I don’t mind you asking the price at all. We all love to share a good deal. My husband picked it up for $3.99. We’ve seen them listed anywhere from $35 – $100, but I’m not certain those higher priced ones are sort of different, or a site more like One Kings Lane (which I love).
