Jerry has been on a building spree lately, and I can’t say that I mind at all. He mentioned to me in passing that he was going to build an outdoor bar cart / cooler / BBQ Island thingy. Because I’ve been overly busy with work work, I heard him and said cool. Next thing I know, I head to the garage and it was practically done. I love it.
He got lucky and found a $5 cooler at the thrift store, looked at a few pictures online and started building around it. This patio BBQ island, bar cart, cooler, whatever you want to call it, It’s perfect….it has the cooler for ice & beer, a space below for bottle storage, and a flat work space area for mixing up the drinks. It even has a pretty copper towel rack in front, which is why we spray painted all the hardware to match.
We’ll post the final pictures next week, and I’ll ask JC to give us a little insight on how he actually did this.
