It was so good to get home from my short work work trip to Boston, and back to my family! Shay has been a huge help to me lately with the Atomic Hostess Etsy shop. I take the pictures, load them to dropbox and then she pops on over to Etsy and lists the items for me.
Yesterday while snapping pictures for new listings I had an idea, uh oh! The perfect use for this vintage silver plated large coffee purculator. Forget the coffee. Mix up your favorite batch of alcohol shots / shooters, pour the batch in and let the spigot flow.
Why, oh why didn’t I have this at my last Birthday Party? My last Birthday I turned 40 something….okay, I’m not ashamed of my age, I turned 45. For my birthday we had some friends over, I made up some Fireball jello shots, and a batch of shooters called “Hot Flash”. I used a cute vintage pitcher for serving them, but this piece would have been so much better; it holds 56 ounces of heart warming liquid courage, the look is gorgeous, and that pour spout / spigot is at the perfect height for a quick fill. I’m pretty sure we would have had a bit less sticky spillage at the end of the night.
Can you picture it sitting on our patio bar cart / cooler?
This piece is now listed in our Etsy shop (link here). Secretly I’m hoping it doesn’t sell.
