mid century nightstand with wings? wishful thinking

Yes, it’s well known that I have many projects that wait for the inspiration and direction to hit me. That makes me an artist, right? Or a procrastinator? I like the sound of artist better. This little night stand was sanded and primed MONTHS ago.

She wasn’t bad looking before, just dinged up and needed a few small repairs. Doesn’t it look like the sides should pop up like a drop leaf table? That would be a really nice feature, but sadly the wings don’t pop up. Not the best quality picture, but you get the idea of the before picture.

MCM Nightstand Before

So, finally after months of procrastinating, I mixed a couple colors together and came up with this sea glass sort of blue-ish green-ish color. I’m hoping I can recreate it!

Cute lil mid century nightstand has wings - broken wings sort of. We thought they were like drop leaf, but it's just the design.

We had to snatch these cute Natalie Wood coasters from our favorite restaurant, Capone’s.

The coasters are for Moretti beer in case you’re now on the look out. She was so adorable!

We have no idea who the man in the picture is, but we have a hard time leaving military pictures like this behind.

This was my official first listing on Amazon Handmade, more about that soon, but go check it out!

Enjoy your Christmas week, if it doesn’t get done, it didn’t need to get done. Enjoy and take it all in.

Merry Christmas! xxoo Kris
